This blog is an eclectic personal commentary of what I find interesting based on where I’ve been, the people I’ve met, what I have experienced, what I have read and whatever.
As a child, I followed my parents around Europe and the United States. As a youth I hitch-hiked through the mid-west and west; even “rode the rails” briefly until a friend fell beneath the wheels of a Milwaukee Road freight train. I spent service time on an isolated Aleutian Island – my monkish period. I spent too little time with beats and expats in Mexico. I studied engineering, computing and sociology. I married and we had two children. My hometown is in Wisconsin (that’s the proud progressive state that has been muddied by the Walkerites). For many years we lived in Indiana and New Jersey before finally settling in Saint Paul.
